Shashwat Tile Adhesive Signature Series is specially formulated for interior floor tile laying. In case of vertical application on walls, heavy vitrified tiles, or any external application exposed to environmental conditions, please use Shashwat’s special Elite or Prestige series of tile adhesives.
No. This is a pre-formulated, one-pack formulation containing 53 grade OPC Cement along with performance polymers. Addition of any cement, sand or any other additive will upset the chemical composition and adversely affect the properties. Just mix it with water as directed.
Open time – 15 minutes – Time span during which the tiles can be laid on the newly laid adhesive bed.
Adjustment time – 30 minutes – Time during which the tiled area can be slightly adjusted without affecting the bond strength.
For an average bed thickness of 8 mm, 1 kg will cover about 1 – 1.25 sq. ft. area. One 20 kg pack covers about 20 – 25 sq. ft., depending on surface roughness and size of notch trowel used.
